It’s our party but also that of the Québec jazz community – let’s get together!

Claude started sortiesjazznights.com to heal his post-2002 Montreal Jazz Fest blues. So much great music all at once, and all of a sudden…there was hardly any more. But actually, there was quite a bit and that’s what he set out to discover and share for the last 22 years.

2025 starts off with a new team

2025 brings in new projects so let’s broaden our horizons with a renewed team of writers including three young collaborators for our weekly suggestions (bons plans jazz) as well as our concert and album reviews. Samuel Lechasseur picks up the weekly suggestions (bons plans jazz) from Arnaud G. Veydarier who continues with his bi-monthly album review interested in the new forms of jazz. Charlotte a vu! is a few feature of our very curious Charlotte Désilets that will tell us the concerts she’s seen and loves. Baptiste Lejeune will share his love of vintage jazz albums from the golden era of the 50s-60s-70s. Christophe Rodriguez, our trusty columnist will continue with his bi-monthly album review.

So it’s with great pleasure, for me, Claude Thibault, to present to you the new sortiesjazznights.com team and to continue covering the Quebec jazz scene like we have for the last 22 years!
